For recruitment and labour hire

Onboarding shouldn't stall on a witness.

Placing a worker often means a declaration somewhere in the paperwork: a statutory declaration about work rights, a declaration that a licence or ticket is current, a contractor's statement that their own people have been paid. The candidate often starts Monday and the JP is closed by the time they finish work. We witness those documents by video call, with an Australian lawyer, in the evening and at weekends.

Where it goes wrong

The start date is Monday

A placement can be held up by a declaration the worker can't get witnessed over the weekend. With us they can do it from their phone on Saturday.

Workers are on site, not in the office

The people signing are on a job somewhere, often regional, and can't get to a JP during business hours without losing a shift.

Clients ask for a declaration you can't witness yourself

Host employers and principals often want a witnessed statutory declaration from the labour hire provider or its contractors. Your own staff can't witness it.

Declarations cluster at month end

Payment and compliance declarations fall due around the same dates. Each worker can book their own time in advance.

Why use us

Independent and qualified

An external Australian legal practitioner has no interest in the placement, and is an authorised witness for statutory declarations in every jurisdiction we cover.

Works from a phone

The worker uploads the document or photographs it, shows their driver licence or passport, and signs on camera. No account and no software to install.

From $39 per document

Questions

Does the worker need their own device?

Yes. The person signing does the identity check and the call themselves, on their own phone or computer.

Can you witness a declaration the client has drafted?

If it's a statutory declaration or affidavit in the form for one of the jurisdictions we cover, or a contract or deed that needs a witness, yes. Upload it and the practitioner witnesses it as it is. We don't draft or check it, or advise on it.

Which states do you cover?

The Commonwealth, plus Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, the ACT and the Northern Territory. We don't witness documents made under Western Australian or Tasmanian law.

Regular volume?

Tell us roughly how many declarations you handle a month and we'll talk about monthly invoicing. For a single worker, just start a session.
