The JP is closed. You still need it signed.
Most statutory declarations get witnessed for free by a JP at a library or pharmacy – when one is open, and when you can get there. We're for the times you can't: after hours, from a regional town, from a hospital bed, or the night before something is due.
Where it goes wrong
The counter shuts at four
JP signing desks keep business hours, and so do you. We run weekday lunchtimes and evenings, and through the day on Saturday and Sunday.
You're nowhere near one
In regional and remote areas the nearest JP can be a long drive away. Ours is a video call.
It's due tomorrow
Insurers, courts and government agencies don't extend deadlines because you couldn't find a witness. During our hours you can connect on demand or book a time that evening.
You can't easily leave the house
Illness, disability, caring responsibilities, no transport. The document still has to be witnessed properly, and it can be, from where you are.

Why use us
A lawyer, not a volunteer
Your document is witnessed by an admitted Australian legal practitioner. Australian legal practitioners are on the list of authorised witnesses for statutory declarations and affidavits in every jurisdiction we cover.
Remote witnessing recorded on the document
The practitioner adds a witnessing endorsement recording that the document was witnessed by audio-visual link, with their name and capacity. The content of your document is up to you – we don't draft, check or choose forms.
You don't pay unless it works
If your document turns out to be something we can't witness online, or your ID doesn't check out, you aren't charged.
$39 per document
Charged only once it's witnessed, whether you book a time or connect on demand. Regular volume? Ask about monthly invoicing.
Questions
Isn't a JP free?
Yes, and if one is open and nearby, use them. We're the paid alternative for when that isn't practical – after hours, at a distance, or against a deadline.
Will the agency accept it?
Every jurisdiction we cover permits audio-visual witnessing by an Australian legal practitioner, and the endorsement records that it was done that way. If the recipient has its own rules about how its form must be witnessed, check them before you book.
What ID do I need?
An Australian driver licence, an Australian passport or a foreign passport. You'll photograph it and take a selfie, and the practitioner checks both against you on the call.
Get it witnessed
Upload the document, verify who you are and sign on a video call. The session usually takes about ten minutes, and the witnessed PDF is emailed to you.
