For individuals
The JP is closed. You still need it signed.
Most statutory declarations get witnessed for free by a JP at a library or pharmacy – when one is open, and when you can get there. We're for the times you can't: after hours, from a regional town, from a hospital bed, or the night before something is due.
Where it goes wrong
The counter shuts at four
JP signing desks keep business hours, and so do you. We run evenings and weekends, when the free options have gone home.
You're nowhere near one
Regional and remote addresses can be an hour from the nearest listed JP, and the register isn't always current. Ours is a video call.
It's due tomorrow
Insurers, courts and government agencies don't extend deadlines because you couldn't find a witness. On-demand sessions connect you to a practitioner straight away.
You can't easily leave the house
Illness, disability, caring responsibilities, no transport. The document still has to be witnessed properly, and it can be, from where you are.
Documents we handle
- Commonwealth statutory declarations
- State statutory declarations
- Affidavits for court or tribunal
- Insurance claim declarations
- Superannuation and identity declarations
- Change of name and identity statements
- Statements for Services Australia and the ATO
- Declarations for overseas study or work applications
Why use us
A lawyer, not a volunteer
Your document is witnessed by an admitted Australian legal practitioner. That matters when a document specifies a restricted class of witness, and it never hurts when it doesn't.
The right wording, automatically
Endorsement wording differs by state and by document type, and getting it wrong is the most common reason a declaration gets bounced. We apply the correct form for your jurisdiction.
You don't pay unless it works
If your document turns out to be something we can't witness online, or your ID doesn't check out, you aren't charged.
$29 evening, $39 on demand
Appointment slots show their own price in the calendar. Business accounts are invoiced monthly.
Questions
Isn't a JP free?
Yes, and if one is open and nearby, use them. We're the paid alternative for when that isn't true – after hours, at distance, or against a deadline. We'd rather you knew that up front.
Will the agency accept it?
Every jurisdiction we operate in expressly permits audio-visual witnessing by an Australian legal practitioner, and the endorsement records that. If a recipient ever queries it, send us the query and we'll respond directly.
What ID do I need?
An unexpired Australian driver licence or passport. You'll photograph it and take a selfie, and the practitioner checks both against you live on the call.
