For DVA, NDIS and claims advocates
Supporting declarations, witnessed from home.
Claims advocates, ESOs and support coordinators spend a lot of time chasing the one signature a claim can't go in without. A veteran's statement for a DVA claim, a carer's declaration for an NDIS review, a witness statement for an insurance or compensation matter. We witness statutory declarations and affidavits by video call with an Australian lawyer, so your client can sign from home.
Where it goes wrong
The claim is ready except for one declaration
Everything else is lodged and the file is waiting on a statement nobody has managed to get witnessed.
Clients can't easily get to a JP
Many veterans and participants live remotely, have mobility limits or find a public counter stressful. A video call from home helps with all three.
Supporting witnesses are spread out
A former unit member, a partner or a treating carer can each make their declaration from wherever they are.
Advocates shouldn't witness their own client's claim
An independent legal practitioner as witness keeps the declaration clean and avoids any question about the advocate's role.

Why use us
Outside business hours
Sessions run at lunchtime and in the evening on weekdays and through the day at weekends, on demand or booked ahead.
Gentle on the client
The client stays at home. An advocate or family member can help them set up the call, then the practitioner takes it from there.
A lawyer as witness
Every declaration is witnessed by an Australian legal practitioner, and the endorsement records who witnessed it and how.
$39 per document
Charged only once it's witnessed, whether you book a time or connect on demand. Regular volume? Ask about monthly invoicing.
Questions
Will DVA accept a declaration witnessed by video?
Commonwealth statutory declarations can be witnessed by audio-visual link by an Australian legal practitioner, and the endorsement says so. We can't witness state documents for Western Australia or Tasmania.
Can I, as the advocate, join the call?
You can help the client set up and stay nearby, but the practitioner needs to see the client sign on their own and be satisfied they understand what they are declaring.
Can you help write the statement?
No. We witness documents and do not give legal advice or draft claim statements. The content is for the client and their advocate.
Can an organisation send us clients regularly?
Each client can book their own session. If your organisation has regular volume, make an enquiry and we'll talk about monthly invoicing.
Send a client through today
Your client books a time or connects on demand, verifies their ID and signs on a video call with a lawyer.
